Has it really been 20 years?

As I may have mentioned before, Bob and I will be married 20 years on April 20th.  I never originally intended to redo my wedding album, but when I was asked by my niece if she could do some website work for me, I agreed that I would do a wedding layout for the website.  As I've always said, I love to scrapbook because it takes me back to that point in time in my life, and boy, did this layout do that for me.  As I was working on it I can remember the weather that day (raining), how chilly it was outside, my little nephew mispronouncing my brother-in-law's name, the missing unity candle and all the fun and wonderful people we were able to share out new lives with.  The evening ended with my cousin wearing my wedding hat!

This layout uses the Rouge de Garance Wedding Collection from Sandylion.  I chose this collection because of its elegance and colors.  We had a traditional black and white wedding so this collection complimented our photos perfectly.

St. Patrick's Day Beer Glasses

While I was preparing for our St. Patrick's Day party, I decided I wanted to have a small gift for each our friends who attended.  I decided to go practical...everyone will need a beer glass, right?

I created these glassess by cutting out shamrocks and guest names using green self-adhesive vinyl.  I then cut and embossed a small, paper shamrock charm and tied it to the bottom of the glass and embellished a few of the shamrocks with green rhinestones.  After just a few hours of crafting, I was able to get 8 glasses done.  The best part, though, was that the entire project cost less than $10!

The Little Princess....

Occasionally I find a collection that I love, but don't necessarily have a photo to match.  That happened to be the case with this collection, Fairy Tales, from Reminisce.  I was scrapping with a friend when I came across this collection.  I really wanted to do a layout with it, but I didn't have a photo to match.  Luckily, my girlfriend did.  This is her niece, Amber.  She has the cutest little princess face that I just couldn't resist.

As I mentioned, this collection is from Reminisce.  There are six double-sided papers that are fairy tale themed; Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, etc.  It also has coordinating stickers.

Could you travel forever?

One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is that, whenever I start a layout, the pictures I'm working with always seem to take me back to that moment in time.  In this layout, I can feel the ocean breeze as it blows over the deck of the ship.  The sun was bright and warm giving us a much needed break from the winter storms we left behind.

This collection is new from Best Creation.  Not only do I love the papers and embellishments (all of them are glittered) in this collection, I love the name; Travel Forever.  And I can travel forever...just from the memories I create in my layouts.

Swingin' in Costa Maya

These photos were taken in Costa Maya, Mexico at a beach bar/restaurant.  The swings were so neat we just couldn't resist getting a photo (or a cool beverage).  It was a beautifully warm day with a nice breeze.  Oh the memories....

This layout features the Paradise Found collection by Moxxie.  It features three double-sided papers with coordinating stickers and rub-ons.  I love the colors in this collection because they are different, yet work together beautifully.

Bon Voyage

Our family loves to go on cruises.  Not only do we get to see parts of the world we'd never otherwise see, but we've found that it's something the whole family can do together and enjoy tremendously without involving a mouse (nothing against the mouse, it's just that a little variety is nice, too!).

This layout features the Cruising Collection by Sandylion.   The collection contains several papers and coordinating embellishments ranging in price from $.65 to $1.99, which makes it a very affordable collection as well.
